5000 job offers for Spanish People in Austria

Austrian Hotels Association announced 1721 job posts for young Spanish people in order to have experience in an international sector and in addition 3600 internship offers are available for professional training.

According to the organization, Austria which is a leading tourist destination (ranking 11 in the world), the hospitality industry forms %7.4 GDP of its economy yet there are not enough staff to take care of all the visitors from other countries. Therefore, the firms have offered job positions or at least a full professional training in one of the demanding and growing sector in Austria. The majority of 1721 positions consists of receptionists, waiter/waitress (average salary 1886€), cook, kitchen and cleaning staff (average salary 1548€). The average salary of all the positions is around 1832€ (gross salary).

Apart from a good hospitality career, the organization aims to promote the professional training which helps the young people to step into an attractive industry with a comprehensive practical experience. The interns will receive the theoretical information in a school and the %80 of the training will include working in a hotel. The duration of the training will be from 2 to 4 years and the salary varies on each year. Yet the last year of the training, the interns will earn almost the same salary as a qualified worker has.

The most advantageous part for both sides is a great proportion of their economy is based on tourism, so that Austria wants to get benefit of Spanish academic background and professional experience. Spain has the 3rd place in the world to receive the most visitor and both countries have visitors from each other with an increasing number.

For Spanish people, it will be an exciting opportunity to start a career in Austria and will add great value to their personal development. Not only know the industry but also to understand  the economy and the culture will be a plus while stepping into a promising future.
