Spanish Universities Offer Multinational Career Opportunities

The University of Jaen has been added to the "Recruiting Erasmus" project, which opens the door to students for a multinational work experience.

The main objective of this program is to connect the three pillars of the labor market in Spain: the most innovative and demanding recruitment of talent, the brightest students and ability to work in the international arena and with the expanding world of education.
Recruiting Erasmus provides students to have an international experience in their first work experience and start building a career with vivid presence in several major Spanish and multinational companies." The program focuses on students who have lived an international experience and who have a match with the most demanded profiles in business area, which greatly makes the selection and recruitment processes easier. The students take a year out of their native borders enhancing language skills, negotiation skills, willingness to mobility, creativity and ability to spot opportunities.

Apart from The University of Jaen, most of the universities including Madrid Autonoma University and University of Barcelona take part in this project. The University of Jaen will inform the students whether Spanish or foreign who study international academic programs can apply the "Erasmus Recruiting" project.

Until now the project has provided a brilliant career nearly in 20,000 college, students between 21 and 26 who have made the Erasmus program of the European Union (EU) or any similar international stay. Currently,% 92 of participants in "Recruiting Erasmus" is Spanish and the other %8 of the rest of Europe and Latin America primarily.

For these studies, %32 of them come from Engineering. Other programmes are: Business Administration (%26), Information Science (%8), social sciences (%7), Humanities (%6), law (%6) and Experimental Sciences ( %6).

17 leading international companies such as Abbott, Banesto, BBVA, CLH, Gas Natural Group, Heineken, Iberia, Ikea, Inditex, Janssen, Kellogg, Merck, Prosegur, Siemens, Tecnalia, USP Hospitals and Vodafone have joined this initiative. With this project, companies can recruit the talents they are seeking at first instance and while starting a fresh career.
