Students from a wide variety of courses have come together to produce the diverse and interesting channel, which is called 'Europea Televisión'. The films and videos created range from documentaries to fictional creations.
The internet TV platform will serve as a practical tool for students and soon to be issued in 45 languages worldwide, highlighting the multi-lingual nature of the university. The channel may not have been running for long, but there is already a range of fascinating things to watch in both English and Spanish including documentaries about wine bars in London, festivals in Spain and videos that students themselves have designed and created.
The dean of the Faculty of Arts and Communication, Luis Calandre, said he was incredibly proud of the project and thanked all the effort and involvement that has been necessary to launch the channel.
