University of Barcelona Students design Pep bracelet

A group of students from the business school ESADE, within the University of Barcelona have designed a bracelet honouring the F.C. Barcelona manager Josep “Pep” Guardiola.

They have created a range of silicon wristbands which contain the slogan “Tots som Pep” a Catalan phrase which means “We are al Pep.” They come in red, blue or maroon; the colours of F.C. Barcelona.

The bracelets website elaborates upon the reasons why the students admire Pep. They say that those who wear the bracelet believe in doing work well, making a strong effort and growing through difficulties rather than being defeated by them. They also admire their opponents, are humble even in victory and finally maintain a positive attitude even in times of trouble.

People who wear the bracelet and align themselves with the values of Pep will be setting themselves aside from the stereotype which dominates Spanish youths; that of them being the “Ni- Ni” generation.
