University of Huelva Edits Book About Love

A new book “Diccionario de Motivos Amatorios en la Literatura Latina” has been published which collates some famous Latin writer’s views about love. The book has been produced with the help of 8 different Spanish universities and was edited by people from the University of Huelva.

The book will be released in May. It is 529 pages long and will include the opinions of authors like Plato and Apuleyo about love.

The book collates views about phases and types of love and also people in love. There 173 extracts about topics such as the slavery of love, eroticism, marriage and the fantasy of love.

Antonio Ramírez de Verger, who was once the director of the University of Huelva, had the idea of creating a book of this sort when he studied at Oviedo University. The book has taken more than 20 years to produce.
