New Courses at the University of Salamanca

by Lindsay Cook - Monday, April 11, 2011

The University of Salamanca will run two new courses which will start at the beginning of the coming academic year, 2011 -2012.

It will be possible to take a masters in Nuclear Physics, a program which is being run in collaboration with the University of Seville. The other course which will run is a doctorate in Medieval History.

These courses have been approved by the Junta of Castilla and Leon which governs the region. The Ministry of Education will now take the proposals to the central government. Here the official titles of the courses will be established and they will be entered into the Register of Universities, Centres and Courses.

The nearby University of Valladolid is also offering several new courses meaning the strength of the universities in the region will be boosted.
