Subscriptions are open for FUNDESEMS's virtual business game BUGA CAM

by Lindsay Cook - Monday, April 4, 2011

Subscriptions are currently open for FUNDESEM's 13thedition of the business game BUGA CAM. This game aims to increase Spanish university students´ knowledge of the business world. Participants must sign up in teams of three or four people.

There are many prizes to be won; students can win cash prizes, grants to complete masters programs and even trips to New York, London or Ibiza. The game will occur in two stages with fewer players making it to the second round.

The game simulates the real business world. Players need to make both strategic and operative decisions in the areas of marketing, human resources, finance, production and logistics. For example they need to decide whether to produce their merchandise in the EU, China or elsewhere in the world; just as they would need to in real life

In previous years people from almost 5,000 universities have participated. Subscriptions for this year’s game remain open until 14thApril.
