New Scholarships in Spain

Those who are seeking scholarship to study in Spain, should check these new offers and recent news in Spanish education system.
• Grants for summer courses at the International University Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP) in Santander, which will take place from mid June to September, may be requested until May 25. The topics are including the situation of East and emerging countries, medical research or creative support.
• The International University of Andalusia (UNIA) opened the application period for scholarships for 36 courses and 33 summer meetings scheduled for this year in its various offices in Andalusia, in addition to maintaining the free tuition for the seminars to be held in several Moroccan cities. Thus, the application deadline for grants ending on June 8th for scheduled courses in Malaga and 15th for scheduled at La Rabida (Huelva) and Baeza (Jaén). • The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, through the Secretariat General of Universities, has plans to spend more than 72.4 million euros for 'FPU fellowship' training and promotion of research faculty for the next four years. These grants are held on a competitive basis, that is, be awarded to those who prove to have better skills among all applicants. With this investment, the ministry will award 950 new scholarships, 1,000 short term of two to four months in Spanish and foreign centers and 80 temporary transfers, between 6 and 9 months in foreign centers.
