The 'Job Portal' for Spanish graduates

A Seville based company connects students and recent graduates with companies across Europe for an internship or find their first job - And it is all for free!

Many people are taking advantage of the current period of crisis for recycling, improve language, learning new skills and improve their curriculum. The inability to find work leaves no option to thousands of people who turn in their training in order to find greater job opportunities when economic growth returns.

The project began in September 2011 under the name of Europe-Internship, although the co-founders had already put the seed on the platform earlier this year to create Spain-Internship.

For now, the company's turnover comes from the first area people which is around 400 or employment practices, by charging the service to universities, which have EU funds for this chapter, while Europe-platform Internship offered to users for free. Thus, future scholars all they have to do is register on the website, upload their resumes, leave contact details and wait for the call of business. And they also must pay a euro to get the list of applicants. A strategy that will continue until the platform is highly known. Looking ahead, the company is already working on other revenue streams: specific applications for college or management of accommodation abroad for trainees.

The objectives of Europe-Internship for this year go to triple the number of registered users, from 1,500 today to 5,000, and quadruple the volume of business, from 250 to 1,000. Billing is placed at 120,000 euros, while in 2013 amounted to 180,000.

There has been a need for students and recent graduates, and at European level there are no platforms to interconnect different countries, operating in one market, and less free, thus avoiding the performance intermediary agencies. Several companies have great confidence in this cooperation offering positions in online marketing, public relations or customer service in Denmark, Switzerland, Holland, Italy or Greece.
