The chancellor of the University of Huelva, Francisco José Martínez, announced earlier this week that there are now more than 13,000 students enrolled in the university.
The announcement was made at a celebratory breakfast, held by the university as part of the festivities honouring the student’s patron, Santo Tomás de Aquino.
He emphasized the strength of the teaching at the university. In the student satisfaction surveys that were completed earlier in the year, undergraduate courses were given a score of 8.2 and postgraduate courses received a score of 9. Huelva University has particular strength in postgraduate courses, offering 36 different masters courses.
In comparison to the other universities within Spain, the University of Huelva received a greater number of mentions in relation to its teaching quality at postgraduate level.
