Agreement between Endesa and the European University of Madrid

The European University of Madrid, UEM, (www.uem.es) has signed a contract with the Spanish energy firm, Endesa, (www.endesa.es)  allowing its employees improved access to the university facilities.

Both the employees and their children are entitled to loans from the university if they wish to complete either undergraduate or postgraduate studies. Their professional experience can also be exchanged for academic credits. UEM will benefit from this strong link with the business world. It already has over  5,000 similar agreements with other businesses.

The agreement promotes lifelong learning and training. It has been passed with relation to the proposals from European Area of Higher Education (http://www.eees.es)
